Lankeela - none so blind as those that will not see. Over 60 other people could have been rescued, without disturbing the official evacuation order as far as I read it. No-one was sacrificed for the dogs, I fail to see the problem there.
I don't suppose that Boris authorised it (although I am sure he was aware of it) because, as far as I can see, it was an extra flight and not under the official plans. So, not his remit.
Yes, Boris wriggles and squirms and will obfuscate while he can, but he owned up in the end about the unwise garden meetings. Tell me one P.M. who wouldn't do this and who hasn't? Blair was interviewed by police 3 times I believe, but the media didn't go into a frenzy.
I think that the media - and a lot of others - should get things into perspective - last thing the West needs now is an unstable UK government.
