This business of "red lines" etc intrigues me.
If Ukraine joining NATO is a "red line" for Russia, that implies they will or indeed can prevent it.
The thing is, they cannot, not without taking a step which surely Putin knows is a step too far.
If there is no intention or possibility of invasion, then why speak of "time running out". "Time running out" until what?
Today in the Russian parliament, by the way, the Duma is going to "ask the Kremlin" to recognise the two gangster paradises known as the Donetsk and Luhansk "people's republics" as independent states.
All a piece of choreographed nonsense, as the Duma is effectively the Kremlin's wagging tail.
It will be interesting to see what comes of this.

//Ever thought of a job on Russian tv khandro.

And there we go, anyone trying to see both sides is suddenly a supporter of Russia, just the same accusations made agains t Trump when he spoke to Putin. I think you are far to emotionally involved to make judgement on others.
Who can trust the West of the 'Dodgy dossier'? And Putin is far from mad, that is why we should be wary of him.

What strikes me sticky is how open they’ve been with a lot of the intelligence in fact, all along. That has to be a deliberate policy.
And there’s the PM casually tossing about place names like Kherson, Sevastopol etc!
Although I’m obviously not with him on a lot of things, like all right-thinking people I’m right behind him on this

Pat:
When one’s husband (NOT yours I hasten to add!!) comes home late with lipstick on his collar and mumbles something about working late at the lipstick factory and shuffled up to bed blushing that’s lies.
When he looks you in the lie and says with a wink and a grin: “But I’ve been here all the time!”
That’s vranyo :-)

I think that is very unlikely.
However the point surely is that they have it all ready to go and no matter what they say the pieces are all in place.
It amuses me when people talk about “NATO advancing eastwards” as if it were some sort of fungus. Farage has just been wittering on in this vein on GBN.
