Someone on another thread said oh for the days of Brexit threads, or similar. So I thought I'd oblige.

Brexit caused LESS disruption than expected and has seen a 6% RISE in trade between UK and Europe's second largest port following months of 'trouble-free' shipping

Here is another big Brexit gain from the DM:-

One of the reader’s comments reads:-
‘At least when we get to the Brexit sunlit uplands they will have nicely mown grass.’
that was me hyme- - oh for the good old days of brexit and five threads at least all saying the same thing from Our Prophet - tits-higher (*)
I er was trying a bit of irony - - no klaxon, apologies

if it is too insulting take the whole lot out
Small world.
I cannot make any sense of that Daily Mail link about ride on mowers.
It says Parliament will block the EU move to add £50 to Insurance premiums.
We are not in the EU so the new rules would not apply here surely? Or am I missing something?
They would if we were still in the EU, hence a big gain for Brexit (another one to add to my list).
But we are not in the EU. There is nothing for Parliament to block tomorrow.
There will be millions of people with vast lawns outside their terrace houses, who will be thankful they voted brexit.
In truth this probably affects 1% of the population, and if they have a home with grounds so large they need a ride on mower, then they can probably afford to be fully insured.
Even when we were in the EU, the UK could opt out of any legislation it wanted to.
The Daily Mail ...............zzzzz
Are "Die Hard" remainers those that still watch Bruce Willis movies?
//if they have a home with grounds so large they need a ride on mower, then they can probably afford to be fully insured.//

Guilty as charged.
