The plane was festooned with cameras and he gripped a hand held one throughout.
The plane was deliberately set up to plunge down when he left the controls. And he pointed it at a mountain.
He had a highly manoeuvrable professional parachute on from the ground, not an emergency one in the plane.
Once parachuting you normally try to get away from the aircraft in case it spirals into you. He does the opposite, he follows it to the ground. The plane was bought cheaply, and was sold for scrap/parts.
He has a fire extinguisher concealed on his person. He collects all his cameras, and does not report the crash for many days. In the intervening period, he has recovered all trace of the wreckage, so accident investigators have no evidence to work on.
Not in the least bit suspicious.
