How stupid ...Brits have spent the last five years slagging off the E/U Countries. And how happy they are to be leaving. And now they are queuing for up to 10 hours in some Uk airports
to escape from the UK , for a holiday in E/U Countries.
And then experiencing even more Chaos when they arrive in theE/U and have to join the non E/U passport holders queue.
" Lets get Brexit done said Boris" .....you certainly were. enjoy.

The weather babe, the weather:0)))
gulliver: "Why are all these people wanting to spend all that money and hours and hours at Airports and Ferry ports just to escape from Britain for just a couple of weeks. " - for the same reason they did when we were in the EUSSR.
Could they possibly be looking for you, gulliver? A bit like the Where's Wally comp?
Desperation drives folk in different ways, Gulliver.

20 24 TTT "We make our own Laws"
No you don't . Boris makes them , then Breaks them.
Phew for a few seconds I thought we weren’t going to get a Boris word, you had me worried Gully
I know it's frowned on, but Gully - Britain isn't desperately trying to rejoin the E/U. BRITONS are trying to get away for a bit of sun.
I am as annoyed as anyone about the chaos at airports, but it is down to idiotic (I.M.O.) Covid reactions.
Please get a grip, Gulliver.

TTT.. Boris is a law unto to himself

Jourdain @21.07. Dream on .
All these delays are caused because of Brexit.
It's the E/U at the other side of the channel getting their own back Take those Blinker off and get a grip.
So the EU is petty enough to want to get its own back?..... Hoist on your own petard, Gully.

There should not be any need for Brits to leave the UK to holiday in the sun .
Boris promised you could all go skipping across the Sun lit meadows and fields of the UK after Brexit .
....Remember......lol
It will all fall back in place now that we've got Pounds and ounces back. This is got to be Boris's best move ever. :)))))))
The next plan is for everyone to have a free voucher to buy a high vis coat and a builders hat. :)))
Well 3rd world countries are often selected as good holiday destinations. Good to see how the more unfortunate live.

Sandra @ 21.57 I think Boris lost his eighteen pence many years ago.
Question Author
Sandra 22.06 Have you any idea why Boris keeps visiting infant schools to talk to the kids. ?????
//The present shortage of staff in the aviation Industry is a direct result of Covid. Many were let go because the aviation industry collapsed and have not returned. Nothing to do with Brexit and I have never said it was,…//

How, then, do you explain the juxtaposition of these two sentences:

//I seriously don't know how anyone could have missed the queues and cancellations on the News. Brexit has had a negative impact on life in the UK -ask anyone to give one example of a positive impact and they ignore the question.//

To answer your question, the positive impact of Brexit is that the UK is no longer a member of the European Union – something which it should never have joined, which provided it with little or no benefit and certainly an organisation it should not have remained in beyond 1993.
gulliver... I know your just having a laugh and dont understand sensible answers but am going to try. I just been to Amsterdam airport and its worse, alot worser than in uk airports....complete chaos. Most of those queing to get out were americans and Europeans mainly Dutch & German, few British. Queues snakeing round the airport for security, security queues getting mixed up with check in.... We were warned by hotel and reps of problems. and the airport had signs up saying it was experiencing staff shortages and 'crowds'... No mention of Brexit....
//...but am going to try.//

Fine effort, bob. But it may be in vain, I fear.
