Indeed the latest unilateral action is to support it in the face of EU and Remoaner attempts to harm it by allowing the damaging EU activity to continue with it's detrimental effects.
As for reading the agreement one is signing, that should be directed at the EU who, apparently, had no idea change was specifically allowed for in certain circumstances. Boris clearly saw there was an agreement that the EU was willing to sign and despite the obviously damaging bits, it had the right written into it to be change when the issues became obvious to the fools who actually wanted it. Bully for Boris. Raspberries to his critics.

You might be surprised to know that in N Ireland itself, a majority of voters and political representatives support the protocol. And for many businesses it’s the best thing since sliced Ormo bread :-)
Of course for others it’s a bureaucratic nightmare: the government claims the EU was been inflexible, but actually it’s the British govt that’s refused to negotiate at all since Feb.
While the stuff about red and Green channels makes perfect sense there’s much, much more to the government’s proposals and it’s not hard to see why the EU is outraged. This simply is not the way to conduct relations with our nearest trading partners although the prospect of a trade war seems distant.
Even allowing for the desire to get the DUO back into Stormont - as I said earlier, more political expediency than anything

RH, there’s no point in me reading current regulations if the new proposal is meant to stop all the nonsense paperwork and bureaucracy - which it is. That’s precisely what this is meant to change. Do you not see that?
Ich, why is the EU ‘outraged’ this time? Where we’re concerned they’re always seem ‘outraged’ about something. Missing us I expect. :o)
