The PM’s Ethics Adviser has had enough it seems.

I guess Partygate and changing the ministerial code, along with the dodgy dealings over the flat refurb have led him to the end of his tether with Johnson, understandably so.
It’ll be weeks now for Johnson, not months.

I looked at the first three words of your post ("The PM’s Ethics") and spotted an oxymoron straight away ;-)

'Next resignation should be the PM's': Opposition reaction to Lord Geidt's resignation
"The prime minister has now driven both of his own handpicked ethics advisers to resign in despair," Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner says.
"If even they can’t defend his conduct in office, how can anyone believe he is fit to govern?
"Yet he remains propped up in office by a Conservative Party that is mired in sleaze and totally unable to tackle the cost of living crisis facing the British people.
"The person who should be leaving Number 10 tonight is Boris Johnson himself.
"Just how long does the country have to wait before Tory MPs finally do the right thing?"
Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey says: "When both of Boris Johnson's own ethics advisers have quit, it is obvious that he is the one who needs to go.
"This prime minister has constantly lied and broken the laws he wrote. It's clear as day that he has broken the ministerial code too.
"For the good of Britain, the next resignation we should be hearing about is that of Boris Johnson."

Going to be a tough job finding a third ethics adviser in such a short space of time and there’s 148 of his own who’ll not want to defend the contradiction in terms that is Johnson.
Fear not – TTT will be posting shortly to support his hero.

He’s not responded yet to my post on his PMQ thread.
Deluded beyond belief.

Quite striking though that Geidt has resigned a day after being grilled by the parliamentary standards committee. Maybe he’s seen the writing on the wall and has jumped ship before being dragged down by the Titanic disaster that is Johnson?
Don’t under estimate TTT’s adoration for Boris – maybe Naomi24 will come to Boris’s rescue.
The Downing Street Chief of Staff seems to be looking for ways to lever BJ out of his job. His appointment of David Buttress as the new 'cost of living tsar' hardly seems to suggest any great loyalty to BoJo!

OMG! How many Naomis are there?
Question Author
Indeed Buenchico, I did wonder what(or rather how much) made him revise such a strong opinion within 5 months?
Knighthoods and Peerages seem to be two a penny of late?

Just the one but she’s generally busy dividing her time between being on here defending everything Johnson does and fighting off Mad Nad(ine Dorries aka The Human Question Mark) as the winner of his affections.
Fatticus; are you sure she isn't the 24th version of a pro-Johnson bot?
Question Author
At the current rate she’ll shortly be the 24th Ethics Adviser to Johnson, seems to be a revolving door in that department.
Things are definitely looking very bad for Boris – what with neither TTT nor Naomi24 willing to offer support.
A further observation I’d like to make; if I was such a morally bankrupt person that I needed an ethics advisor to tell me what I was doing was ethical (or not) – I’d be lucky to be appointed as an office cleaner; there would be no chance whatsoever of me being Prime Minister.
gawd help us another 5C love in! PMSL!
FatticusInch/Atheist/Hymie, Goodness! Even when I'm not around and not involved in a thread I'm talked about - and not in a good way. How can I help you, gentlemen (and I use the term loosely)?
Fatti //It’ll be weeks now for Johnson, not months.//
So you keep saying but he is still there.
it's great isn't it Naomi, we obsess their thoughts! I had a bit of peace up yesterday so when I didn't respond to their drivel quick enough they started to pine! 5C ♥ TTT
danny://"Fatti //It’ll be weeks now for Johnson, not months.//
So you keep saying but he is still there. "// - well Fatti said he'd be gone by July 2nd, though he refused to back his own opinion, standard Paper Tiger approach, mouth off then run and hide when called on to back own opinion. .....or, plan B find a typo to moan about. PMSL!
Was he really only in post for 5 months ?
