Best strategy is to play for time and keep postponing payments using "technicalities". They understand that game. With a fair wind the ponzi scheme wil collapse before we pay a penny. After all our money will only prop up the scam for a little longer anyway. It is on the verge of imploding as it is.

As it appears the UK is obliged to take into account the rate of inflation when paying its contributions, they will increase or decrease as inflation rises and falls.

The contributions are paid in euros, so again, the amount paid in sterling will change as the exchange rate fluctuates.

If Brexit is such a great success and should be celebrated, as some urge on here, why did the Government wait until the recess to divulge this news?

Why wasn’t it relayed to the grateful public as soon as the Treasury worked out the figures, but instead held over until MPs were on their break?

The delay obviously came from our lame duck Prime Minister, who didn’t want his big achievement scrutinised in parliament on his last week at work.
