Quite so, Sqad. The Mail says he was shot down 5 times but the report from Ireland says his log book shows he was downed twice. What a brave man and if he is the sole survivor he should be honoured as such.

Every year on 15 September I watch the film the Battle of Britain, the credits of which are amazing. I admit it brings a lump to my throat, when viewing the pilots of the partaking nations, that there was just one Israeli. It always serves to remind me how much this country owes to so few.
