Meanwhile, swimmer Sharon Davies says that because she has spoken out, she has been 'cancelled' by several charities she has been connected with for years and is now facing financial ruin.
Interesting take on it by Pink News - and by some of its readers.

The Twitter post from WhatTheTrans.com is fundamentally wrong - I suspect by design to whip up frenzied support.
"Sharron Davies is talking about how her being anti trans is making her bankrupt.
Nope.
You chose to make your full time job trying to ban trans people from sports."
Davies is not anti-trans and is not trying to ban trans people from sport.
What she is doing, and she's 100% correct to do so, is highlighting the unfairness on real women when they compete against men who have gone through puberty and obtained the physical benefits that come from that, but then transitioning and competing (cheating) against real women.
See Lea Thomas which shows the absurdity for what it is.
The Lionesses did wonderfully well last night playing against the Swedish women, but how would it be if instead they were hammered because Sweden fielded some men who were transitioning? Normal thinking people would agree it was unfair.
It is fundamentally to allow men who are transitioning/have transitioned to 'women' to compete against real women.
That is what Sharron Davies is fighting for - and she's correct to do so.

The NHS needs to accept the simple fact that "trans men" are not men. They are women pretending to be, or calling themselves men. Not a problem 99% of the time; they can call themselves horses for all it matters, so long as they are not allowed to enter the Grand National. But when it comes to healthcare (and crime - the two being linked in most serious circumstances a while back as I have explained on here) it most certainly does matter.
There is absolutely no need for this at all. A patient who has given birth and who suckles an infant is a woman. The idea that she is a man is about as daft as suggesting she is a horse. The NHS should not indulge this nonsense. The law does not require it and common sense certainly does not cover it. The 0.5% of people who are allegedly transgender cannot expect the other 99.5% to assist them in this ridiculous make-believe.
