I'm almost word perfect on 'Right said Fred' and 'Hole in the Ground'.
I think it was only last year that he reprised his role in The Railway Children, in a R4 play, as a just retiring Station master visited by the grown-up Roberta who was trying to settle a refugee child.
He will be sadly missed. R.I. P.
