I always like John MacDonnell and would of liked to see him have a go... I wasn't convinced by Jeremy Corbyn though, I much prefer Kier but maybe his not winning the public over so Andy Burnham would be good.. Is Alastair Darling or Ed Balls out of politics now... not if he's the right candidate. Brian Jenkins became MP for SE Staffs (as it was then) on the death of the sitting tory mp in 1996. he held the seat with a 10,000 majority when labour took power in 1997.
