What is wrong with this woman? Her son had the best free NHS care possible, care which she says wasn’t good enough, poor little Archie has now gone, and now she wants a public enquiry. Of course I feel sorry for her but she has really gone too far. She should be grateful she didn’t have to pay for something that was self inflicted. Rant over.

No, this was totally different to the Harry Dunn case where Harry was unlawfully killed and someone got away with it.
Archies case was nothing like that. The only similarity is a child died in each case and there were grieving mums in both cases as you expect

But huge difference (one unlawfully killed& killer escaped justice, and huge sympathy from the public at the mothers plight ....other died maybe at his own hands, hospital spent months trying to save him and mother seemed to want to drag it out and encourage a media circus).

The link kindly provided by MissTerious has certainly provoked my interest in the involvement of the "Christian Legal Centre." It seems from my initial reading of that link and a couple of sources it cites (including court transcripts) that the organisation seems to be sailing very close to the wind with its offers of legal assistance. For example, a link from its website is labelled "Need Legal Advice". This is somewhat strange when CLC is in a position neither to provide legal advice itself nor to instruct, on behalf of a third party, somebody who can. Its involvement is also a little mysterious in that its headline on its homepage says this:

" We’re here to safeguard the freedom of Christians to live and speak for Jesus Christ, and to provide legal support for those taking a stand for Jesus and the truth that flows from him."

Leaving aside whether or not they are in a position to legitimately provide "legal support" I have at no time seen any indication that Ms Hollie Dance (Archie Battersbee's mother) is in any way a committed Christian. The closest I have seen is in one report where she is quoted as saying that it is for The Lord to decide when her son dies, not the doctors.

Ashamed of what. There has always been a question of what actually happened to Archie. Prolonging his eventual death delays any question of exactly what happened. The mother spent more of his last days giving interviews than being at his bedside. The Christian League supporting her is anti everything that is against their beliefs, specifically homosexuals and lesbians being treated with respect. I hope a coroner will investigate the circumstances of the accident to the fullest
