Is the noose tightening on his boss? Will there be some kind of a plea bargain? The thought of 5 years inside at his age is no easy pill to swallow.

my cousins best fren' was one of the Black fall guys - v rich to not rich at all - and I think he has stayed that way. The worst he found was the ostracism ( by those who got away with it)

Also The Donald ( I think ) had to put his business into a 'blind trust' - which means he can plead 'nothing to do with me'
The personal tax system in the US works differently to the UK, but apparently there are others in the Trump organisation who similarly did not pay tax on the company benefits they received (cars, paid schooling for their kids, rent etc.) – maybe even Trump himself.

According to this report Weisselberg has agreed to testify against Trump’s real estate company – but as CFO he must have known this tax evasion was going on for a long time. If I was him I’d want immunity from the information supplied, being used against me.

Trump is incredibly unlucky. Almost everyone he's had anything to do with has turned out to be a criminal.
tomus42 – I like your analysis of Trump’s predicament, maybe he should use it in his defence.
The problem is that when he denies everything, hundreds of thousands of Americans will actually believe him!
