UK .NHS, now ranks at 16th out of 35 European Countries. Nhs is now on par with Estonia and the Czech Republic .And Ireland performed even worse .
What has happened ? is it down to an inferior Government with an incompetent PM,?

KHANDRO, your claim was "all of whom have never contributed a penny to the NHS".

"
If they have been in the UK & are working (not all of them are) for say 3 years, they will have paid only 3 years of N.I. contributions & taxes, but have the same entitlement as a person who has paid in for 50 years.

As I say, how can that work ?"

There will be millions born in the UK who had not paid tax or NI prior to receiving NHS treatment so what is your point?

I Have an elderly Relative, who also served Queen and Country just like TTT has. This relative went to live in Cyprus on retirement.
He returned to the UK a few years ago with his wife, to visit relatives. They both suffered food poisoning from a dodgy UK Restaurant... They were refused NHS treatment and access to a NHS Doctor and medical treatment because they had lived outside the UK for more than 3 months .
If people would stop spouting random statistics with no reference to their source it would help this kind of discussion.

89.5% of people on AB do this and as a result this is 25th least popular question and answer site in the northern hemisphere.

How long ago was it?
