I'd entirely agree.

Th couple's approach is clearly not one of people who are following advice from people paid for their long experience in dealing with royalty and their perception in the media and with the public.

Sadly, as time proves endlessly, the more drivel the couple offer, the hungrier the media and its customers are for it.
