Neither Kate nor Meghan are going. Kate’s staying with the children because it’s their first day back at school. Meghan is staying in London.
the editor of the Times certainly didn't criticise, PP.

For those interested in the murder of a king

Just looking at the footage of people milling outside Buckingham Palace. I expect they are waiting for the notice to be pinned onto the gates. One bloke was merrily waving at the TV cameras. Most of them probably don't give a damn about the Queen, they just want to get their selfies.
I hope that if/when the end comes, the good people of AB can react with dignity and decorum.

I hope HM is comfortable, pain free and able to make a recovery, but I fear the worst.
It's a sad day, but I've been saying for a while that I thought she would leave us before too long. She must be tired and so disappointed and upset by the Andrew and H&M saga. Just expecting the next lot of buffeting doesn't give a great reason for fighting to stay alive.

I don't know if she has already died or not, and I can't say that I have always agreed with her actions or words, nor that I am a great royalist - BUT she is a great lady who has always put her duty to her people and country first and although it is normal for old people to die I am saddened and pray that she has an easy passing to join the man she loved for so many year.

I'll start practising the National Anthem to play on Sunday, if not before.
mozz: "I hope that if/when the end comes, the good people of AB can react with dignity and decorum. " - lets hope so, they didn't manage it when TGL went.
Perhaps a less controversial woman will attract less controversy, Tora.
Sad news, I heard a bit earlier but just caught up, I wish her and family all the best at this time.
"but I've been saying for a while that I thought she would leave us before too long"

She is 96
As seems regrettably likely, should the Queen's life end soon, I wish her the most comfortable passing possible. She has had a magnificent life & reign & will be - on the whole, I believe - very sadly missed.
My son's firm have just been called down to London to build 6 communication towers.
I fear the worst and I'm sure all at the BBC already know
Sorry Tora, but Maggie wasn't even close to being as revered as HRH is, and to compare them is an insult to our Queen.
mozz, irrelevant, we(you) are talking about dignity and decorum, I'd expect that regardless of the person.
All very sad and can't imagine the Queen not being around. I've had a lump in my throat since we heard that all the family were on their way up to Balmoral.
I am not, would not, compare HM and TGL both of which I hugely admire. I'm just reinforcing your hope at the same time realising that it is difficult for some to do what you hope for.
Than I concur with your hopes Tora.
I too hope and pray there is no disrespect and nastiness over the coming days about our Queen, who has been an exemplary Monarch. I hope the mods and Eds are on the ball over this.
Totally agree Burly
The worst thing about the Queen's eventual passing will be her successor!
TGL?
