Fatti,
I bought the Daily Telegraph for 30 years. It was right wing but a good newspaper. But then the Barclay Brothers bought it and decided to make it into the Daily Mail II, and it became rubbish and I stopped buying it.
I find AB going down that path. 18 years ago it was fairly even politically, and was good. Now it readership has aged is predominantly right wing posters, and strangely moderated. It gets less and less enjoyable, the more rightward it leans.
It nears younger members and a more diverse range of views, but anyone like that would be instantly put off by AB as it now is.
