The warmth of the crowd towards them ,
must be pissing off a lot on here - lol
I'm referring to the walk down the crowd currently going on
Not at all, Baz. I wouldn't expect any less from the British public. Perhaps Meghan, as she likes to be called, could learn something about dignity and diplomacy.

When she starts behaving like a Duchess and not a spoilt diva, she will probably go up in my estimation.

Catherine, as she likes to be called, is as always the epitome of class and dignity.

I was thinking the same...spitting feathers possibly?
When I first tuned onto the BBC and saw the caption mentioning Wales and Sussexes, I thought it was a mistake.
This is very gratifying to see...i hope it continues.
Isn't it very hypocritical of Meghan?
It would have looked worse for Meghan if she’d refused to join them
Well yes, there is that, Elliemay. I think it's very gracious of William and Catherine to extend the olive branch, but I daresay they have done so at the behest of our new King.
Question Author
Oh and in what way?
Maybe the King has requested that disagreements be put aside.
Is that wrong?
Question Author
@18:18...it might have looked worse if she wasn't invited/ allowed to take part.
No, it isn't wrong. Where did I suggest it was?

Harry and Meghan were within spitting distance of William and Catherine prior to the Queen's sudden and unexpected passing and made no attempt to contact them, so there was clearly animosity. Now they're putting on a show of unity. I should imagine Charles has actively encouraged this.

No need to spit feathers over it....

My statement was in answer to elliemay...
Oh, it was a statement? It looked like a question...

In any case, my thoughts remain unchanged.
Question Author
Don't worry...you've made that clear over and over again.
Excellent.
I think we need to remember a lot of what we hear is via the media who like to stir things up and make up what they don't know. Of course they have their difficulties, find me a family that don't. I don't know any of the family, have never met any of them so can't comment on what they are like.
I hope the King and Queen Consort are heartened by the sight of them talking to the on-lookers. Not too many PDA's from either couple.
Keep the positive vibe going, pasta ;)

Thanks for some sensible responses.
Lordy, it's like pulling teeth on here tonight. And it's early. *rolls eyes*
I don't think people's opinions are as media-influenced as some might think. I watched her interview with Oprah and I've heard her podcasts and she has slandered our Royal Family.

She was thrown a lavish wedding at the expense of the tax payer, got to wear priceless historical jewellery belonging to the Crown, was housed in a beautiful royal residence and was greeted warmly by the British Public and the RF, and how did she repay such kindness and privilege?
Indeed, radio dental.
:-p
How much editing do you suppose goes on in those interviews/chat shows/podcasts?
