For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.We listened to that a day or so ago, Hymie. Lord Spencer gave us a laugh...but not for long. It's too sad to be laughing.
Luckily we don't have to get over it and we haven't lost...other than Dave having to sort some of our buying from Germany now as from the UK is far too difficult. We'd rather the money we can't spend here be spent in the UK but hey....it's not our fault. Neither of us let immigration influence our votes.
It's family and friends still there that we feel for. However, thanks to Mayo Granny and Kerry Grandad, many of the youngsters have now got their Irish passports and are talking of moving here to join us. Bliss....well as long as they don't all turn up together! :-)
Anyway, Hymie....keep posting please. If there is a genuine benefit we really would be glad to know of it.

If back in 2016, I posted the list below as the main Brexit benefits that would be realised by late 2022 – most people would have thought I should be sectioned; but these are indeed the only Brexit benefits of note.
- Blue passports
- The Crown Mark on pub glasses
- Mobile phone companies able to make roaming charges
(when using your phone in mainland Europe)
- Killing our honey-bees with EU banned pesticides
- Not having to insure ride-on lawnmowers used on private land
- Signage within Dartford tunnel spaced at yardage distances (in round numbers)
- The freedom to release as much raw sewage as we like into our rivers and coastal waters (and doing so), without fear of being prosecuted by the European Commission
- Un-capped bonuses permitted to be paid to our bankers

If I ask you to explain why you think it's sour grapes, TTT, I doubt you will. Don't think you've ever answered a question from me.
Nobody is bothered that the vote didn't go their way for the reasons you think. That's life. Happens in every voting situation.
This is a bit different. Some of us...even if we live elsewhere... are really bothered about the damage that is being done now and will be done to the UK in years to come....and that's a wee bit annoying and saddening.

All the remoaners they do is list things as "benefits" to take the peace. They cheery pick data to suit their BS. They lost and post every day, Hymie's said the same thing 100s of times. They never answer any questions. Nothing will ever be good enough they ignore the crises in their evaluations and deliberations. Sour grapes end of.
"...are really bothered about the damage that is being done now and will be done to the UK in years to come....and that's a wee bit annoying and saddening. " - what damage? Don't worry about us me old china I'd worry about your own inevitable exit from the club. Most of the UK Problems now are caused by the pandemic, Ukraine etc. Brexit has launched the UK world wide but we don't go on about it 10 times a day. Remain lost because they insisted on rubbishing brexit rather than telling us why we should remain. Now they are doing the same after the event, what do they want? Us to rejoin? The EUSSR will collapse one way or another because it is fundamentally flawed.
