Humiliation For Prince Andrew
Following the coffin in civvies after not being allowed to wear his military uniform, he looks completely out of place.

//Both Andrew and Harry have been serving officers in H.M forces, both in theatres of war and rightly decorated.
It is wrong that they should not be in uniform.//
I do agree to a certain extent and believe in other circumstances they’d be allowed to, however it has been decreed amongst the Royal Family themselves that the protocol is that they do not.
Their own rules, they must abide I guess?

there are different and conflicting protocols here. Royal family protocol is that everyone should dress up as a five-star general. Military protocol says if you can't hack it you don't get in. PR protocol says if you're caught canoodling with underage girls you should be left in the library with a glass of whisky and a revolver.
The compromises they've worked out are probably for the best.

It is a Greek thing and Phil the Greek wanted it. His muvva (philz) was a right one I can tell you - and so Justin Welby DD went through with it, looking a bit flustered I thought.
At least there are no choirboys singing ( so Andrew can go back in) And men ( thurifers) thurifing thuribles- it is an incense thing
worlds biggest thurible, St james of Compostela - needs five men to swing it

The thuribles in Santiago de Compostela look to be about 6 foot tall. Last time I was there it needed 6 men to get one moving.
It's swung now at the end of most pilgrim masses. If you want to be sure of seeing it in motion you can pay a fee of €400 .
In times past it was probably used at the start of a service to mask the stench of the unwashed pilgrims.
