The family won't get any kind of rest until after the funeral. The King has to meet heads of state now and probably more duties on his agenda until then. I actually feel sorry for him.
When I first read of this vigil earlier in the week, it was referred to as the Vigil of the Princes. Now, with Anne joining it has been renamed the Vigil of the Children. It doesn't quite have the same air of tradition (yes, I know it's relatively new)...maybe because children implies young. Which none of them are.
What sort of a signal would that send Bobbi?
You can’t come in because the children are there? It’s a public lying in state. They will and have had a lot of private time. I can’t say but I’m sure they didn’t mind.
I doubt it would be in the TV guide.
It'll probably be the same time as last night, which ended at 8pm.
As you I am sure know there is a live stream on the BBC website where you can watch.
I agree with Ich, I don't think the people passing by should have been stopped when Charles and the others were keeping vigil. I'm looking forward to seeing the Grandchildren do the same this evening.
I thought the grandchildren's vigil was quite sad. What I did notice, however, was all the people showing respect by bowing etc. but when the grandchildren were there they just seemed to stare at THEM and show no respect to the coffin!!
