""If they give me less I'll be homeless as it's going to be a choice of feed the kids or pay the rent," said mum-of-seven Zoe Bridges.

The 29-year-old from Derby is already struggling to make ends meet and was visiting the city's Hope Centre food bank for the first time.

"It's a bit of a nightmare, I've come for essentials like bread and treats for the kids… the government just keep cutting everything. It is what it is," she said."

"Ben Crowe, 30, started receiving Universal Credit after he was made redundant from his warehouse job. He's been using the food bank for the last few months."

How about stop having kids, get the father/s to look after them and Ben can get a job, plenty out there.

\\Always Sky, isn't it. Broadcasting all these made up, sub CNN tales of woe.

Australian Sky are brilliant. Is it not the same company.//

Alan Jones was great.
Yeah, must be tough being a millionaire and having to pay all that tax?
How is it that all the Tories are here anyway(well, one main one really), shouldn’t you be in Birmingham waiting for Truss’s keynote speech?
I'd like to burst Zoe's bubble by letting her know that food banks don't generally dish out treats for kids.
aw - don't spoil a good story!
Of course I’m jumping to conclusions TCL, but I’d be surprised if I’m wrong.

\\Yeah, must be tough being a millionaire and having to pay all that tax?// someone earning £1M pays £400k in tax, how much do you pay?
I find it curious that social warriors like the pub bore fattichusinch find somebody paying £400k tax instead of £450k is somehow worse than a drain like Zoe.

Bizarre.
Webbo3 - fattichusinch is of the non-thinking view that everybody should pay more more tax than he does.

It’s a sad and pathetic point of view, but it salves him.
DD you have no idea what like Zoe Bridges' circumstances were or are yet you described her as a, "feckless slapper" who has "spent most of her time on her back".

If anyone has, "a sad and pathetic point of view", it's you.

Same as everyone else on less than £155,000 a year but if I was a millionaire I’d scrape by on £600,000 I reckon.
What about you?

Yet again, but especially for the hard of understanding I’ll ask:
How much money do you need to be comfortable?
How greedy do you need to be to survive?
How much money do you think you can spend in one lifetime?
Instead of constantly slating other ABers and pathetically bragging about your wealth(yawn) why not have a go at answering the questions?
TCL, a 29 year old with 7 kids relying on MY money, is a slag. She just is.

Tell me why she isn’t.

Zoe may be a devout Roman Catholic who eschews birth control.
Lol, indeed there are people better than me….but you’re clearly not one of them, otherwise you’d make an attempt at a decent counter-argument or discussion?
As for the young woman in question, yes she’s a mother of seven. Do you know they’re all hers?
She may be with a partner who has children of his own from a previous relationship?
Ease off on the hatred and abuse, if you’ve got so much money then you aren’t struggling are you, so why should you be bothered?
No idea what ‘keyboard hard man’ means, other than you’re jealous that I served in HM Forces and you didn’t?
That was my choice, you made a different one but try not to feel bad about it, some serve there country, most don’t.
But you’re welcome.
*their country, not there
