Truss got it right. She did what had to be done. For some reason Boris was conflicted, and called it wrong.

I can't see that posts about this should be removed on grounds of heterophobia. It's the predation, not the sexuality, that's the problem.

It is understood that the incident that triggered the complaint against Burns took place on Tuesday night at the Bar of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham city centre, where conference delegates were staying.
It was alleged that Mr Burns acted inappropriately toward a young male, according to a witness to the incident. The Chief Whip sacked him when she was told.

The incident was very similar to Pincher, but his sacking was very different.

I am doing some Tribunal work ( as an er lay advocate thingey) and there is NEVER any proof. On paper it is always someone yakking.
And if you are unlucky - It is Mrs Mopp reheating Mrs Smith's down the road, HER gossip. - all done with paper. You never see a person.

Anyway Times today has groper - ( I suddenly realised that doesnt make it more true or more likely)

Big thing ( geddit? pun intended) is that the groper himself doesnt have to prove anything: THEY have to prove he groped. - and a little thought will confirm he cant prove he didnt grope....
