Great result for the families but what an absolute piece of work. I know conspiracy theories find fertile ground in the US but how anyone can believe the BS this guy was peddling is beyond me. There will be an appeal but lets hope that goes the same way.

This one is a loon, I believe he really thinks a lot of the rubbish he spouts. There are a fair few amongst us who do believe outlandish things. Take the Holocaust deniers as a close example to this.

Capital punishment seems a bit excessive for someone who simply uses the American tradition of free speech to spout unsubstantiated incredible claims. The argument was always to let them make a fool of themselves as saner individuals can counter such claims and convince society otherwise.

Have to say I've not followed this case that closely as it just seemed a nonsense to me. I liked the mental floss allusion though.
