Think of her what you will but she'll need balls of steel to get through PMQs today. A gargantuan task.

Naomi//What crises?//

What on earth, Naomi?

//The Cons are a mess and maybe inept but it's wrong to blame any goverment for All the country's woe's when the rest of the world is suffering from similar or worse inflation, energy crisis, wheat crisis covid, covid effects, war uncertainty...
Maybe some balance rather than bang bang bang tactics of some on here would make people take them seriously//

The world is indeed facing difficulties but when a government tries to implement and presided over the most disastrous, uncalled for mini-budget with preposterous and ludicrous ‘outcomes’ that tanks the UK economy and unnecessarily adds to the burden of financial woes for millions of its citizens then believes that ‘Sorry’ covers it I’ll blame that government until kingdom come.
Do try and gain a sense of perspective.
Cloverjo, ‘stagflation’ wasn’t a word that sprang readily to mind but if you cottoned on to untitled’s meaning, well done. It eluded me.
Get some perspective. The minibudget was a proposal.. a dumb bad one . ..for 2023 and has been cancelled and the markets readjusting....so how can it have tanked our economy. Your hyperbolee means your not took serious
He isn’t taken seriously by most, Bob.
stagflation is a situation of low growth and high inflation

unfortunately bobbi the damage is already done
jno: //[Braverman] had the biggest mouth, if that's what you mean, but she was standing on the shoulders of giants - predecessors who had made mega promises and failed to fulfil them. As did she.//

Interesting scoop here from this morning's Express on why she was really ousted;

Lol, the Borstriches agreeing with each other that the UK isn’t already suffering serious hardship and it’s going to get worse.
A ‘proposal’ that spooked the world markets who saw it for what it was, pie in the sky and only looked after the bankers and rich.
The more you deny what’s happened, the sillier you look. You should quit while you’re ahead! Lol.
your doom mongering is so wearying. Fatticus, isn't there some good news you could post.
Cruella saw what was happening and made herself an ‘out’ is another opinion.
I mean, who wants to put their name to this s***-show?
Charles Walker summed everything up succinctly last night.

It’s called news and the current machinations in the HoC, you might want to take note, it’s definitely going to affect you and in fact all of us, unless you want to join Naomi in her bubble?
It’s a lonely place, mind…..
//ousted on "tenuous grounds" because of policy differences with the Prime Minister and her new Chancellor.//

Having only recently been appointed to the job, that doesn't say much for Truss's judgement. Wasn't she aware that they had 'policy differences'?
Ignore him, emmie. He may as well just copy and paste everything he writes. Like a stuck record. I don't bother to read most of it any more.
i have given up reading his posts for the most part.
Forgot the link:

In the meantime emmie, feel free to post some good news about the Tory party and what they’re doing?

wait and see is what i have to offer.

Naomi: I know you are Tory through and through and want to defend your party and this government, but can you no see that Truss's premiership has been chaotic from the start. A poorly implemented "fiscal plan" (only called that to avoid consultation and scrutiny) which led to market turmoil, the sacking of the chancellor and the appointment of a new one who reversed virtually every part of the plan. Yesterday plumbed new lows, home secretary sacked / resigned, not over using a personal phone but for major policies differences. Then the unedifying division (how appropriate) on fracking, which many Tory MP's opposed but were forced (physically) to support.
drmorgans, I don't know what you think you've been reading but you've certainly not read my posts on the subject of Liz Truss's leadership.
