Naomi - // Now Ms Fulani has acknowledged that the comments were made without malice, i wonder if she apologised for jumping to the wrong conclusion and condemning Lady Hussey unnecessarily? //
Since there was only one conclusion that Ms Fulani 'jumped to' - which was that lady Hussey was not willing to accept her response of being British to Lady Hussey's question about where she came from, and her conclusion was that Lady Hussey was being offensive.
There is only one 'conclusion' there, and it requires no 'jumping to it', it is laid out in from of Ms Fulani, and repeated more than once.
As for the 'condemnation' of lady Hussey, I think you'll find the heavy lifting there was undertaken fairly and squarely by the media, and the royal family, with their responses.
