Mick ‘Grinch’ Holding The Country To Ransom Has Called More Dates To Strike
I feel for all those people who want to be with their family’s this Christmas, they’ve now included Christmas Eve in their disruption, my opinion is he’s trying every thing he can to bring down the Government, shades of Arthur Scargill, 8% over two years is no good to him, why can’t he see there is no money in the pot to meet his extravagant demands

In the seventies the British car industry was in a hell of a state. It was, thought many people going to crash out - and it did. It was steered to the precipice by a communist convener called Derek Robinson, or red Robbo as he was well known. Many believe he single handedly killed the British motor industry allowing BMW, Mercedes etc plus all the Japanese...

If his case has merit in the present economic climate then the members will let it continue. Conversely if it is an attempt to get an unjustified rise, or the economic climate can't allow it, then I can't see the members deliberately making life difficult for themselves & their families in the run up to Xmas. It'll sort itself out soon enough IMO.
Now there's an idea davebro.
This has now become purely about bringing down a Government, what Lynch has missed though is that hitting ordinary folk has little financial impact(other than to save the potential punters a few bob) and so no one will really care.
And on other days the financial impact is minimal these days. One good thing about Covid is it rushed forward the ability to function from home rendering much of the impact of strikes useless.
What he is likely to do is simply reduce the usage of the trains which will result in less services and thus less jobs.
Bring it on Lynch (The Putin lover)

Lynch has balloted his members and they have voted overwhelmingly to strike. He is just carrying out their wishes, no one is breaking the strike.
Stopping a few trains isn’t going to bring down any Government, that is a ludicrous suggestion from people who are clueless. They have given plenty of notice, so at worst it is a minor inconvenience. People can plan to travel on another day.
Ultimately this is about the Government imposing huge cuts on the railways before they kill of Network Rail.
