I’m still going on holiday in two weeks time ,
I’ve put every Penny we’ve been given from the government to where it was intended,on my heating, so it’s cosy warm in here although about a 2 inch covering of snow outside
My daughter and son in law have given us €500 to spen while we’re away
I’ve managed to transfer our flight to Newcastle at a cost of course but it’s worth it
Well, that’s my RTBC
How about you?

We're cosy and at home. Lucy Worsley on Ag. Christie will be on in a bit and it's very interesting. We've managed to miss all the footie.
I'm sorting out in my head next week's short story for our writing group as I type. The local press photographer visited said group and took a photo of us handing a copy of our first published anthology to the son and daughter of a deceased member, who left us enough cash to publish it and give us a working balance to use for the future. The paper is also publishing a Christmas story by me. My 11 yr. old granddaughter; who has a lovely voice but is ditzy enough not to understand that she had to practise a song for an audition, was yanked to stardom in her school production when the official soloist couldn't make the performance and granddaughter stepped in and sang faultlessly. I have time to practice the organ this weekend.

Yes, I've got lots to be cheerful about and offset the gloom. :)
