Well, at least by a poll being carried out by The Express asking how would you vote today? ;

Reform UK, 52%
Tories, 29%
Labour, 11 %
Lib Dems, 2%
SNP, 1%

and yes I know it's The Express, but still interesting don't you think?

There seems a heck of a lot of Brexit supporters who normally vote Tory but who are sick of the lack of progress re NI and border control who effectively only have Reform to switch their vote to. Add on Brexit supporting Labour voters who feel neither main parties are interested in ensuring true independence for our nation and one might find Reform gathers...

shrug? Thanks for the detailed explanation.
what naomi has described is called the "spoiler effect"... it is an inevitable consequence of FPTP and it is quite a serious problem

naomi; I've stuck by the Conservatives for a long time (before that I was Labour) but I now no longer wish to give either of them my support, I find both parties EQUALLY disagreeable, & so released of a feeling of loyalty, I feel free to vote for whomever I like.
Me too, khandro - but however I vote, loyalty won’t be a consideration. It never is.
I've never heard of Reform UK.
I've never heard of Reform UK.

Was the poll restricted to Reform UK members?

That's fine, but let's face it, you aren't really interested in UK politics are you?
Khandro is so knowledgable on UK politics he went to live in Germany!
Sorry I forgot …..

Zacs-master; //Khandro is so knowledgable on UK politics he went to live in Germany!//

As I've said ad nauseum, I have many interests & pay lots of taxes in the UK.

And, if residency is a pre-requisite for observing & having views about events in another country to one's domicile, you must forfeit the right to have views on European, American & Russian politics too.
Sorry, but any poll producing the numbers you quote above is obviously complete nonsense, unless the poll was OF Daily Express journalists rather than being organised BY them.

Do you have a link or anything to substantiate the OP?
..thought not.
He provided a link on Monday but it comes up with an error. I Googled the report and it come up with a hit from Saturday's Express but that link was also broken.

I could ser a bit of the article in the hit so I copied it and Googled that but had no success. A bit later, even that hit no longer appeared.

I think that if those figures had been correct and I am not doubting that KHANDRO had seen them, there would have been headlines all over the media.

I think the figures were erroneous and the report in the Express has been deleted.
Fair enough Corby. I think one would have to be a bit foolish to believe they weren't erroneous in the first place.
Question Author
tomus & Corby; Don't you two goons realise that these stats are not to be taken too seriously?
Aaaaah, so you knew it was nonsense all along, despite giving no indication of that until 76 answers in. OK.

Pmsl.
Reform Uk sounds like a project or think tank within a party that is just fanciful rubbish that will come to nought, a tiny clan of like minded individuals who will never see their pipe dream come to fruition in their lifetime. A microcosm of Liberal Democrat’s if you will.
// A microcosm of Liberal Democrat’s if you will. //

Far from it.

They are the Brexit party renamed, and got 2% of the vote at the last General Election. Their President is Nigel Farage.
They are like the Tory Party on acid.
I wasn’t comparing their ideology to the Liberal Democrats just their numbers in comparison to mainstream political parties.

That's what I'll bet you said about the Brexit party. It didn't win any elections, but turned out to be momentously influential.
Go figure!
