Two things which turned me off some people in 2022.

The King: For throwing his God-mother Lady Hussey under a bus.

Boris Johnson: For recommending a 30 something, nobody friend of his wife, Carrie for ennoblement to The House of Lords.

Lady Hussey is Prince William's godmother, not the King's.

2- as an experienced member of the royal household she should have known better.

Sorry, I was wrong about her being his god-mother, but she was his mother's closest ally.
It was a despicable way to behave.

lady Hussey did resign and did not speak of it but the other woman was on the TV, radio and the papers and her organization was looked into. lady Hussey also apologised. Whatever happened, I still think it was dealt with too swiftly and could have been dealt with differently.

No one threw Lady Hussey under a bus. They made the expected noises in order to appease a manufactured hissy fit. Lady Hussey is still well and truly on their Christmas card list.
