Rip Lisa Marie Presley

Passed away from a cardiac episode aged 54.
She has fought many demons over the years and recently lost her only son.
I was watching the award ceremony on Saturday and thought she looked dreadfully ill.

Money and fame can be a curse.

I just saw a lovely pink babygro on FB that would have suited Bollinger. Getting it on would have been an experience!

I think she has struggled being in the spotlight because of her father, she belonged to a cult at one point and suffered drug addiction.

Didn't Elvis die from a heart problem at a young age? I seem to remember at the time that his mother had also died young with heart problems. It looks like it runs in the family.

Yes there is a history of heart issues - her grandmother, and 3 great uncles all passed due to issues with their hearts.

Very sad news. I feel sorry for Priscilla as she lost her ex-husband Elvis when he was still young, then her grandson Benjamin and now her daughter Lisa Marie.
Reading about her today, it seems Lisa Marie had become a virtual recluse and I don't think she ever got over losing her son.

Taken much too soon - a shock to hear of her passsing. Only last weekend I was watching some old videos and one, in particular, showed Elvis, Priscilla and Lisa-Marie in a happy family setting enjoying fun and games at their home. Sadly, fame and fortune often results in heartache and tragedy - maybe better to be at the other end of the spectrum "I who have nothing."
