All Parties should take note, immoral behaviour by MPs which is not dealt with reflects badly on the Party.

Let's hope this starts a return to the squeaky clean behaviour which has been so much in decline for a while now.

I think he's done the right thing (Sunak, I mean) but, as politicians in a spot of bother often do, left it too long, in which time the story built up a head of steam that could have been nipped in the bud, to mix a metaphor or two.

That is a myth. His family in Iraq were extremely wealthy and well connected. His grandfather was Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq. When the US invaded IRAQ, the Zahawi family were given an extremely lucrative contract to provide logistical help to the Americans. He came to England not as a penniless refugee, but as a wealthy heir, to be privately educated at the best fee paying schools. It is not a rags to riches story, it is a riches to riches story.
