Such an odd case and so very sad for family, especially the children. Yes, I agree, the abandoned house needs a more thorough search. The more time that goes by, the more worrying it is. Heart wrenching.
Very odd, Naomi. Apparently, police have said there was no sign of her accidently falling in river. She was on a conference call around same time as disappearance. I wonder what was said, and if anyone heard anything unusual. There's nothing to suggest suicide, but one never knows. If someone threatened her and took her, surely they would have been seen by someone. Like you said, baffling.
Yes, I read the police think kidnapping unlikely, as not many people would know about this river walkway, unless they knew the area well, like a local.
Patsy she'd finished the call, just hadn't logged out as I too was wondering how nobody at work had heard anything. Like everybody else, I find this very odd. I also can't understand why the dog's harness was off, the lead yes, but not the harness. If only he could talk. Where on earth is she? How lovely if she could be found safe and well.
That still doesn't explain to me why the harness was off and if someone did try to steal Willow, where is Nicola now? Surely the house has been thoroughly searched by now.
Ive been following this closely. Ok, so whether she was attacked, snatched or just decided to walk away and disappear, why was the dogs harness off and whatever happened the dog would surely have followed her.
Also, on the news earlier they had someone fitted with a camera and follow the exact route she walked to that bench.
Why did she park her car at the childrens school and then take such a long walk to the river? I’ve never known a school have a car park where they let the parents just leave their cars - have they asked the school if she always did this?? and during this walk to the river she walked past much closer car parks.
Also, if she fell into the river the dog would have automatically jumped in after her and he was bone dry.
Absolutely bizarre case.

Nobody heard her because her phone was on mute. It was still connected to the conference call when a passer by found it. She had joined the call at 09:01. According to her boss, Ms Bulley was simply listening in to the call. She had taken the children to school and then the dog for a walk when she joined the call from a bench by the river.

Ok NJ. Also everyone thought the dog was found sat by the bench with harness and lead off. He wasn’t - he was found nearby running around seemingly agitated.
She might have removed the dog's lead and harness herself. The dog would then be free to run around under the bushes whilst she was on her phone and it wouldn't get caught in the undergrowth.
Our dog wears a harness with a lead clipped to the back. It's a bother to remove the harness and then put it on again. If I'd let him off the lead whilst I made a phone call - I wouldn't have removed the harness as well.
The dog is a spaniel - they love swimming, if she had gone into the river it would have gone after her. It's all very strange and not looking good. But why would anyone remove the harness & if she did, then where is it?
