Missed it for a couple of weeks but nothing really changes. Sir Beer took a knife to a gunfight as usual. Big mistake opposing the government boat people plan, as the PM pointed out it's not the government's priority it's the people's priority! Oops Rodders! bit of an oggy their me old china. Here's a clue, you need to get the people to vote for you if you are ever to get the keys to no 10! Capeesh?
Your perception of proceedings is dramatically different from others. How did you find a parallel universe and can you escape, for your own well-being?
Well Richmond, as most of your participation here is related to crosswords etc, I suppose I should be grateful that you chose to add your undoubted wisdom to my thread.

In 2021 the UK took in around 46,000 refugees and asylum seekers, this compares to Germany’s 190,000 France’s 120,000 Spain’s 65,000 Italy’s 53,000 and the USA close to ¾ of a million.
All these countries take in significantly more refugees and asylum seekers (than the UK), but don’t seem to have such a problem (with them) as the UK.
///Rishi is spot on calling Sir Keep Smarmy just another leftie lawyer.///

For those unable to do the maths, below is the approximate number of refugees and asylum seekers taken in (in 2021) by country per million of their population (numbers you won’t find published in the Daily Mail):-
We need more economic migrants in the UK because we don’t have the workers to fill the job vacancies – this is partly the result of Brexit, when many EU workers moved back to the EU.
741 that's rubbish ..we do have vacancys but many are skilled jobs... and there are legal routes for filling vacancie for fruit pickers..without risking life's on a dinghy. Can you to u hat jobs these me d who the get here?
