"Campaigners want to update the Equality Act 2010 to specify that 'sex, male, female, man and woman mean biological sex' rather than 'sex as modified by a gender recognition certificate'."
Since "gender" has become largely a matter of opinion (and hence for many purposes, totally meaningless) it is clear that some more definitive differentiation is required.

The fact we even need a bill of this sort is the politics of the mad house, and the fact that the leader of the opposition cannot bring himself to say women do not have penises confirms we need legislation even though none is needed.
I’m not that old, in the scheme of things, and I think I have a fairly broad outlook (my younger brother came out to me 30 years ago, I was best man at his wedding to his long term boyfriend) so I don’t think I’m that out of touch, but, but, as much as militants transsexuals get all fighty about it, the undeniable, inescapable fact is that women do not have penises and men do have have cloppers. They. Just. Don’t.
