England. If a company is flying 3 flags - the union flag, the company Flag and the LGBT flag, is there anything governing which should be flown where/higher etc?

The convention is that the Union Flag should fly highest:

There's no 'official' convention regarding the positioning of the other two flags. However it's generally accepted that 'global' flags should take priority over 'local' ones, so the LGBT flag would logically fly above the company's one.

Funnily enough my company does this with 3 flags although we chose our county flag not the rainbow one. The Union flag has to be highest of the 3. When it has to be half mast or whatever the others have to come down even lower. I know there is masses of protocol if anyone wants to be picky about it.
