CDO.."Con Democratic Party" is a group set up to support Johnson.
It's aim is to take back control of the Con Party .And is to hold it's first Conference in Bournemouth 13th May.The group appears to be organised by JRM ,Priti Patel., Nadine Dorries and a major donor to Johnson .
...Peter Cruddas...Boris has been invited to speak at the first event .
This first conference is designed to follow in the wake of the predicted disastrous local election results with Sunak at the helm. ..Should be fun.

Sounds like another interest group within a party. One that disagrees with the way things are going in their party and wish to swing it back to protecting the UK and moving further right with economic & social policies.

There are *way* too many factions in the Conservative Party at the moment - from the Hared Brexiters, the One Nation Tories, the progressives, the traditionalists, the ERG wing, the Net Zero Scrutiny Group, the Northern Research Group...etc

Keeping everyone happy and focused on a common policy initiatives is going to be...tough.

The Conservatives are not split into two warring factions, they are splintered into several groups.
The infighting between them has led to 3 years of chaos and a disfunction Government.
The public are getting mixed messages and will desert them at the ballot box.
I look forward to their conference. They are all as mad as a nest of wasps in a window in a heatwave - could be entertaining ;-)

After the now discredited ERG group disappeared up its own orifice, the dregs are just doing a rebrand. They are toxic so they are hoping a new name and logo will bring a bounce back.
