While they're at it, let's see them discipline Robert Jenrick who went up to his second home in the North of England on the pretence of visiting his elderly parents during one of the early lockdowns.
Travelling at the time was strictly forbidden yet he got away with it with no reported censure by government. In fact, he's made quite a parliamentary career and was or still is a member of the cabinet.
Just to clarify, I'm not confusing him with Dom Cummins.

What she did was appalling - but she's been punished and yes, we should move on. We've become embroiled in a swirling mire of twisted words and nit-picking pettiness and that is not borne out of a quest for justice - it's borne out of spite. Much of it should never have started in the first place but circumstances were such that the dagger carriers relished any opportunity to strike and common sense was - and still is - at a premium. At a time when the country so desperately needed to return to stability to repair the havoc Covid had wreaked, this abject nonsense was allowed to continue - and actively encouraged in many quarters - with the result that it has torn the government apart - a government that flew into office on an unprecedented mandate. How stupid! The sensible thing now would be to recover our collective senses and just stop.

Ferrier broke the law at the time. She also acted in a way that broke the standards of the House. It stands to reason that she should be held accountable both criminally *and* as an MP who failed to reach the standards befitting that role.
