Poor little Boris .He has been told by his own party, that he can not make a chicken run to the safe Tory seat at Henley for the not so far away GE. His current seat at Uxbridge is now guaranteed to fall to Labour ,and just like the Con Party itself . Boris is running scared.

If he doesn’t have a seat he won’t be a contender for the leadership even in theory.
Johnson has a majority of over 7,000 in Uxbridge and S Ruislip, so although there’s a fair chance he’d lose it, it’s not certain .
