It is a British business as JLRA is a PLC and JLR Ltd are registered in the UK and has its HO in Coventry.
Yes, it is a subsidiary of Tata motors but that is the way of the world these days. Either way Jobs and tax will be in the UK, it is in our interest to be involved and 500m is peanuts in the grand scheme of things.
