In one of the recent threads on AB, I posted a youtube video (by Matt Green) parodying Boris Johnson being interviewed at Dulles (Washington) airport.

Having just seen the actual encounter on Sky news, the real thing is worse than the parody – worth a watch if you haven’t seen it.

I admire Mr Johnson’s restraint and aplomb. He acknowledged to BA staff or security that this annoying rissole was an apology for a reporter and answered his questions.
Sky news would be looking for another reporter if he had tried to harass Bruiser Prescott after a long flight

You're right of course, bazwillechotora, it was a display, seldom seen in recent history, of a professional politician field simple questions with carefully formulated replies leaving no-one in any doubt that the truth was being told.

Any mumbling, stumbling, pausing, gazing into the middle distance, lack of substance is clearly a result of editing by his enemies.
