The Croydon tram driver is alleged to have fallen asleep at the wheel and allowed his tram to enter a sharp bend at three times the recommended limit. He is on trial at the Old Bailey CCC to answer charges of failing to ensure his own safety and that of his passengers under the Health and Safety Act. I am sure he didn't intend to nod off and cause the death of seven people.
