It's not been the huge success they hoped for. Yes it's been profitable enough, but not the equivalent of Florida. There has been Covid, and people everywhere tightening their belts (I have friends in France who are very seriously concerned as their bills have soared).
No, circumstances have conspired against it and probably always would have. Travel is not as simple or as cheap as in the USA; they made the mistake of looking at a map and picking a site regardless of the problems (which don't exist in the USA).

Indeed, grumpy. The work in Amsterdam was announced in 2021. It includes:
- replacement of steel bridges at the station’s eastern access
- construction of a new crossing at Dijksgracht
- a reduction in the number of through tracks from 10 to nine, with a - simplified system of points and some track renewal
- platform widening and lengthening
- - renewal and widening of the East Tunnel
- improvements to facilities and pedestrian traffic flow in the West Tunnel, and
- relocation of existing and the addition of new stairs, escalators and lifts.
Similar work is carried out at all large railway stations from time to time. A large programme took place at London's Kings Cross, finishing last year. A huge programme to completely rebuild London Bridge took about five years. Neither of those projects had anything to do with Brexit either.
Eurostar has been losing custom for some time, much of it lost because of Covid. The route was never designed for multiple minor destinations and Marne-la-Vallee is a minor destination. It's rather like expecting Eurostar to run services from Paris to East Grinstead.
