What Do Climate Change Activists Think About Developing Nations Who Want What The West Have Got?
They will initially need to burn oil and gas to develop their economies to approach the wealth of the Western economies. Should they halt their growth because of so called climate change? This is never discussed with these fanatics, I think they would tie themselves up in knots over it.

Centuries ago we had forests but chopped them down.
Britain is the cradle of the industrial revolution. The area to the west of Birmingham is known as the Black Country, probably because of the soot coming out of the chimneys.
Now we say to developing countries don't chop down forests, don't burn fossil fuels, don't develop nuclear weapons (which we have).
Why should they listen?

the unfortunate truth is that the earth does not have the resources to sustain every country or even the majority of countries in the way that the modern west does… the modern western lifestyle is not in the long term sustainable. we live like we have a spare planet… and we don’t.
this means that the future for everybody - developing and developed - is very unlikely to look like the present that west has because the resources eventually won’t be there… in addition the simple fact of the greenhouse effect will if left unchecked render many developing areas of the world uninhabitable due to the increase in average temperatures… other countries will simply be able to grow less than they can now.
there is not an easy answer because to be quite blunt we have allowed the problem to get so bad
