i have no love at all for boris johnson but he is nowhere near as bad as trump or berlusconi! we are fortunate in that regard... though i do think his career should serve as a warning... his success and the loyalty of his fans suggest that a trump/berlusconi/bolsonoaro type of person could do quite well here and that is something we should all be afraid of

I think Johnson has been less dangerous than the others, but getting a taste OF power can lead to a taste FOR power, and some people are more liable to become greedy for power. I think Johnson is the addictive type, and lacking in self-discipline and any type of sympathy or empathy for others.
Dictators and strong men attract some people, and we have seen where that can lead in world history and in microcosm on AB - inability to see faults, intolerance of other people's rights to criticise the great one.

The editor can be as selective as 'they' choose to be, and as discriminatory as they wish. That, however, should not mean that we cannot call put trolling, when it occurs. If the editor is unable to see that trolling is occurring, or unwilling to acknowledge it, that is their matter. And they wonder why less and less people contribute to this site.
