I Watched The First Few Minutes Of Last Night’s Question Time (With An All Brexit Voting Audience)
First of the panellist to be interviewed was John Redwood, who stated that Brexit had nothing to do with the current economic woes of the UK. The chair (Fiona Bruce) allowed him to get away with making this statement unchallenged.
Why did she not point out that this was contrary to reports by the Office for National Statistics, the Bank of England, the Office for Budget Responsibility, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the Financial Times (and others) – and then quote the reported economic losses to the UK (as a direct result of Brexit)?
Clearly the BBC is being biased, allowing these Brexit supporting idiots a platform on national television, to continue spouting Brexit lies.

I think if you want a reasoned debate (and it often seems you don't) you need to desist from insulting those with whom you disagree. People voted the way they did for all different reasons. I've told you often enough why I voted to leave. It doesn't make me and the 17m others who did likewise idiots, any more than you are an idiot for voting to remain. It was the decision you took for reasons of your own and for honestly held opinions. Whilst I don't agree with you, I respect your right to vote the way you did and I would still have done so even if the result of the referendum had been to remain. If only you could do likewise. Conducting a campaign is one thing. Continually insulting your opponents is quite another and it just won't do.

Hymie, the title of your video is 'How do leave voters view their glorious Brexit now?' - but I'd hazard a guess that the nonentity presenting it isn't going to tell us that at all, but rather what he thinks. I might be wrong, but I've no intention of finding out. You do post some rubbish under the guise of 'in depth analysis', you really do.
//It is not open to debate whether Brexit has damaged the UK economy - it is a fact.//
But that isn't your argument, is it? Your argument is that people who vote to leave are idiots. World War 2, in which the UK became embroiled, damaged the economy; the furlough scheme and lockdowns damaged the economy; ditching fossil fuel energy generation damages the economy (all of these to a far greater degree than Brexit ever will). Were all those things wrong? Were all the people who agreed with them idiots? Is the economy all that matters?

Having an argument/debate with someone who just lies to support their position is pointless.
Imagine John Redwood declaring that the earth is flat on QT, and I ask why he was not challenged on this lie?
And I point out that any number of respected organisations have proof that this is not so (that planet earth is spherical).
It would quite reasonable (in my opinion) to criticise the BBC for allowing such an idiot to spout lies that the earth is flat.
To me there is no difference between those who profess the earth is flat and those who claim Brexit has not negatively impacted the UK economy – they are both liars.
It would appear that a large number of people agree that those who voted leave are indeed stupid.
