even if they manage to crush this then the authority of the regime will be fatally undermined and someone else will have a go.
i truly hope this results in a quick and relatively peaceful change of leadership... a civil war in that part of the world does not bear thinking about!
Hi ich. Is that you in your avatar?
I always enjoy reading your posts, you seem very knowledgeable and interested in the Ukrainian conflict.
Are you Ukrainian yourself, are you over there or have you been over there and taken part in the war?
Obviously don’t answer if you’d rather not, but please keep posting about it all x
No, I wish! It's General Valery Zaluzhny, head of the Ukr armed forces. If you think Zelensky is popular in Ukraine, he's probably second only to this man. A legendary figure already.

Not Ukrainian but lots of connections. If I was to take part in the war I'd be more danger to the home team I fancy.

I have no way of confirming this, but I recently read a British reporter (can't remember who) saying that in Kviv, she was surprised to find that Zelensky was not at all popular.
Have you heard anything like that?
its an insurgency at the moment, will the russians fire on russians a the ground level, i dont think putin and prigozhin are going to get round the table for talks, if prigozhin is killed, wagner will fall..maybe
or unrest in russia will bring putin down.
Zelensky wasn’t universally popular until the war. He was seen as too willing to compromise with russia.
abut not such a willing poodle as his predecessor.
A year is so long ago. America tole Z Ukraine was gonna be invaded 23 Feb and Z said, no no, it wont happen. Presumably he (Z) has purged the russian agents from his Ukrainian ministries
It may not be the end. It may not even be the beginning of the end. It is however the end of the beginning. Prighozin surrenders before he falls out of a high rise, saying "So that Russian blood is not spilled, we return our columns and return to the field camps."
Oh No. What a let down. I was hoping that Wagner had stopped and diverted from the M4 to Putin's hideaway and bunker on the coast because they had intel he had fled there in a funk.
I know that Russia is now depleted of state of the art kit and relying on cold war armour and Iranian drones but it seems their GPS is not up to scratch either.
Wagner's march on Moscow came to a halt on the M4 when 'Taff the Toll' demanded £1000 before he let 40 T27 tanks,10 tank transporters and 70 6x2 Troop Transport Trucks cross his Severn Bridge en route to enter Swansea.!!
