I don't like the woman at all, but nobody should be 'de-banked' for their views
I don't think so TTT. It is just the pernicious Beep Beep trying to cover its tracks after it's own disgraceful part in the sinister action. Miller did not declare the account as one for a "political party"(pass the sick bag Alice) after being turned down by other banks who do not manage such accounts. Now of course they would like to pin a turd to the Farage triumph ... a turd of their own making.

//A spokeswoman for the bank said: "Like lots of banks, we do not accept any political parties as Monzo Business customers in the same way that we don't currently accept trusts, clubs and a range of other organisations.

"In this case, the account wasn't originally categorised as a political party.

"After this was identified and corrected, the customer was given notice that the account would be closed.//
I don't think Ms Miller needs to worry too much about not being able to secure a bank account for her political party as I doubt it will survive much beyond the next GE. She and her eight fellow candidates will almost certainly lose nine deposits. It will receive no support from the majority of the chancers and charlatans who infest the corridors of power and is unlikely to see many volunteers to stand as candidates as one of its policies is the abolition of alcohol from the House of Commons.
The Gonzo bank should not be doing that
Didnt Gina wWIN her case?
This story is also reported in the Telegraph, the Independent, the Express, the Guardian, the Spectator, etc etc, but somehow it's the BBC to blame?
//the Telegraph, the Independent, the Express, the Guardian, the Spectator, etc etc,//

None of them was complicit in the false narrative that was cooked up between Rose and Jack to smear Farage.
And you have some sort of evidence that Mr Jack knew the information he was given was false, and used it anyway?
I thought N.F. had exonerated Jack for simply doing his job & following the first rule of journalism; not to identify his source of information.
How long now till Ms Miller is on Love Island or on Im a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here? She looks the part.
Jack holding the position of Business Editor was given information at a dinner where plenty of good wine was available and was so eager to believe the boastful, self congratulatory aside that he didn't even make any attempt to check the veracity of the gossip and had it published and broadcast the next morning. A trainee cub reporter doing the same would have been summarily dismissed without hesitation, so should he have been.
Togo //...he didn't even make any attempt to check the veracity of the gossip ...//

What was there to check? he was talking to the CEO of Coutts herself ! & she has admitted it was wrong to have told him & she has gone, thereby demonstrating that what she had said was in fact true.
Togo. Were you at the dinner? Do you know who consumed what wine? Do you know how the information was passed? No, but you are quite happy to post what are possibly slanderous remarks.

Is the BBC perfect? Anything but, but I fail to understand why so many on AB seem to regard it as the Great Satan. Perhaps they should restrict themselves to GBNews.
Togo //...he didn't even make any attempt to check the veracity of the gossip ...//

yeah he did twice - ring and ask if he cd use it, and the skool leaver at
coutts reception said - "yeah fink so"
The BBC DID check with her the next morning that the story was true and could run
but you are quite happy to post what are possibly slanderous remarks..

People only sue for defamation if they have done it ( George Carman QC) -
