it's just not glamourous enough darling

never mind glamour, barsel, it sounds flaming boring for city kids and I wouldn't be going huntin shootin or fishin, and I wouldn't be wearing a kilt either. They're behaving like modern people rather than 18th century squires, and that's fine by me.
jno, most of the Royals feel very at home up in Scotland and they take part in the sports as this is the way they've been brought up.
I remember Princess Diana kicking up a fuss when William went out on his first shoot.
It isn't my type of thing at all, and there is no way I can see Meghan joining in with any of this, and I'm sure she will have made that pretty clear.
good for her. She might be asked to go out and shoot a quinoa for dinner, I suppose.

They’d probably be very happy if she didn’t join them on country pursuits. I can’t see then being in the least disappointed that she’s not going. Can’t say I blame them.
About time Answerbankers snubbed them.

I just did a search on Meghan and it returned 206 questions.

(and 1000 answers so this must be a search cap I would imagine)

Oh no, Geoffrey. chat’s chat …. whatever it’s about. If people are interested that’s fine. God’s been done to death (so to speak) in R&S, as has Brexit, Covid, etc in News. It all helps to keep the place lively. :o)
I cannot believe that King Charles ever will cut ties with his son and daughter in law, nor their offspring. It is purely a matter for the Royal Family. Humble pie is not going to be on Charles' menu, for sure ;)
The BBC is saying,

'King Charles is to spend 8 September "quietly and privately". The day also marks his own accession to the throne.

Nor are there any plans for a private gathering of the Royal Family on the anniversary of the late Queen's death.'

It's hard to know and even harder to care who snubbed who and why.
Surely not too hard, tomus?
They're in need of a snub editor.
Well said, Douglas! :)
